Our company has purchased some IP and we use them to connect to the outside world. when we google my IP or hit
http://speedtest.net/ it that IP we are talking about., let's call this Global IP.
Then there is local IP: its starts with 192.168.x.x, we use these IP to RDP to other PC.
Then there is IP address of the server. It is totally different from the above two IPs, as it is provided by the service provider (AWS, Digitalocean) we refer to it as Elastic IP, or server IP, since it is also a system, it has its own local and global IP, but we need not be concerned about it.
